Artist Disclaimer

General Notice

All artwork, tattoos, and commissions are created exclusively by Lara, independent artist. By booking, commissioning, or purchasing from me, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

These terms exist to protect both the collector and the artist.

Bookings, Deposits & Payments

  • Deposit Requirement. Every project (tattoo or painting) requires a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot, begin design work, and cover preparation time.

  • Non-Refundable Policy. Deposits will not be refunded under any circumstance — including cancellations, rescheduling conflicts, personal emergencies, or changes of mind.

  • Payment in Full. Once a project is accepted and scope confirmed, payment must be made in full before work begins.

  • Cancellations & Reschedules. Cancellations forfeit the deposit. One reschedule may be allowed with 72 hours’ notice, depending on availability. Any additional reschedules require a new deposit.

  • Chargebacks. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute violates these terms and will result in forfeiture of all artwork and future eligibility.

  • Timeline Acknowledgment. Most custom paintings require 1 – 2 months to complete after full payment and design approval. Timelines may extend depending on complexity and materials.

Required acknowledgments:

☐ I understand the deposit is non-refundable.

☐ Once my project is accepted, I agree to pay in full before work begins.

☐ I understand creation takes one to two months, depending on complexity.

Artistic Ownership & Continuity

  • Exclusive Artistic Rights. All tattoo and painting projects are the sole creative property of the artist.

  •  No Third-Party Completion.

  • You agree that any unfinished tattoo, painting, or design created by Lara cannot be completed, altered, or copied by another artist.

  • Doing so constitutes unauthorized reproduction and artistic interference, and will result in legal action for loss, damages, and infringement.

  • Right to Continue My Work.

  • If a project is left unfinished or abandoned by the client, I reserve the right to continue and complete the same concept, design, or composition on a different canvas, subject, or client — in my own time and under my own creative direction.

  • Artistic Integrity. This ensures the work remains consistent with my standards and vision, preserving the reputation and legacy of my art.

Tattoos — Health & Consent

  •  Eligibility. Clients must be 18+ with valid government ID.

  •  Medical Disclosure. You agree to disclose relevant health conditions (allergies, medications, pregnancy, etc.).

  •  Informed Consent. Tattoos are permanent and involve inherent risks such as pain, infection, scarring, allergic reactions, and pigment fading.

  • Aftercare. Aftercare instructions are provided; results depend on your healing. Neglecting aftercare voids any touch-up consideration.

  • Touch-Ups. Offered at the artist’s discretion; not guaranteed or free.

  • Artistic Discretion. Final placement, design, and color decisions are made by the artist for longevity and quality.

  • No Refunds. Once tattooing begins, all payments are final.

Required consent:

☐ I am 18 or older and consent to being tattooed.

☐ I understand the risks and permanence involved.

☐ I will follow all aftercare instructions.

Art Commissions & Paintings

  • Custom Work. All paintings are bespoke, one-of-a-kind creations.

  • Design Rights. The artist retains full copyright and reproduction rights unless otherwise transferred in writing.

  • Client Use. Clients receive personal display rights only (home or personal social media with credit). Commercial or merchandise use requires a separate license.

  •  Timeline. Standard completion is 1–2 months after full payment.

  • Revisions. One minor round of revisions included before painting begins. Additional adjustments may incur fees.

  • Color Variance. Due to pigments and lighting, final colors may differ slightly from digital previews.

  • Shipping. All works are carefully packaged. Insurance is recommended.

  • No Refunds. Once production has begun, all sales are final.

Intellectual Property & Portfolio Rights

  • Copyright Ownership. All designs, sketches, and finished works remain the intellectual property of the artist.

  • Portfolio Usage. I may photograph, film, and display artwork and tattoos for professional use (website, portfolio, exhibitions, and social media).

  • Clients seeking privacy must request it before booking.

  • Client References. By submitting reference images, you confirm that you have rights to use them.

Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that tattoos and commissioned artworks are creative interpretations. Results may vary based on healing, materials, or environmental factors.

The artist is not liable for allergic reactions, healing complications, or dissatisfaction based on subjective taste.

Liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid for the project.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

  •  No refunds on any completed artwork or tattoo sessions.

  •  Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Commissions are final sale once production begins.

  • Prints or merchandise may be exchanged only if defective and reported within 7 days.

Privacy & Communication

Personal information is used solely for booking, communication, and invoicing. It will never be sold or shared.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the artist’s location and are enforceable in local jurisdiction courts. Any disputes or violations will be pursued legally.
