Appointment Prep
Preparation is part of the process. The better you prepare your body and mind, the better your tattoo will heal, look, and last. These guidelines are designed to help you get the most out of your session and to ensure we both work in the best possible conditions.

A Week Before Your Appointment
-
Begin moisturizing the area that will be tattooed twice a day using a clean, fragrance-free lotion.
-
Do not exfoliate, tan, or sunburn the area. Keep your skin healthy, hydrated, and protected.
-
Avoid major weight training or skin irritation on the area to be tattooed.

The Day Before
-
Get a full night’s sleep. A rested body handles pain, stress, and long sessions better.
-
Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water throughout the day.
-
Avoid alcohol, drugs, or any substances at least 48 hours before your appointment. These thin the blood and interfere with the tattoo process.
-
Eat balanced meals. A healthy meal the night before helps stabilize your blood sugar for the session.

The Day of Your Appointment
-
No alcohol or substances before, during, or immediately after your tattoo.
-
Do not take medication (especially painkillers or blood thinners) without consulting me first.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Avoid tight sleeves, waistbands, or fabrics that may rub against the tattoo.
-
Bring a blanket and a pillow if your session will be long — comfort is key.
-
Bring snacks and drinks to help keep your energy up.
-
Stay hydrated before, during, and after your appointment.
-
Headphones are encouraged if you plan to use your phone — please keep sound off or use them to avoid distractions.
-
You may bring one guest, but they might have to remain in the lobby while I’m working. The studio space needs to stay quiet and focused.
